I just got a pocket pc and of course the first thing I wanted to do was to skin it. I understand PocketBlinds is a dead issue. Any suggestions? I'm running Windows Mobile.

I have registered Wisbar Advanced and Wisbar Advanced Desktop. That's really great stuff.

Thanks Carl, I'll give it a look.

Looks like that is based on Pocket Blinds, but I am not sure.

I'm using an IPAQ4700, for a couple of years, now, and am running Lakeridge Software Wisbar Advance2(must have), a lot of themes by juni(!) and others(search), Marsware Weather Panel v2.5(a must-have), SPB Pocket Plus(must have), SBSH Pocket Breeze(must have), Omega One Battery Pack Pro(tiny but comprehensive), also using Microsoft Reader, while the other programs are running, sometimes for hours at a time, and battery life is tolerable. 4700 has bad memory size, in my opinion, as there is very little room for expansion unless I do tricks with the memory cards and IPAQ File Store. I mainly use it for reading ebooks, and love it for that. Fictionwise.com has a good site, as does Handango, for software.
I ran PocketBlinds on my old IPAQ, a 3600 from 2001, but the 4700 won't run PocketBlinds for some reason.
Check out juni's "Navigator" suite which comes with skins for most of the above programs and then some. Also the many animated weather icon sets from stardock and marsware and others...
Would really like to see more space given to Pocket PC skinning here as there are some great customization possibilities. Animated Today screens work really well. There are the usual aquariums, along with a big tarantula walking around the desktop, trains and other vehicles, games like simon, animated surf from Big Sur, a zen fountain with sound and the fortune-telling 8-ball, even a "pull my finger"...

Thanks Seldomseen. I've installed Wisbar advance and I like the look. No where near as intuitive as WB but I'll start playing with themes more and then look at the stuff you mention.
