I'm starting to go nuts here. I've set the taskbar to auto-hide using the inherent xp api. Hides just fine but any new window opens leaving room for the taskbar anyway. I can fix it by undoing and re-doing auto-hide but that's really annoying. At first I thought it was a problem with the beta OB (I'm still a bit suspicious) but the problem persists even after uninstalling OB.

I've tried leaving the api as not hidden and using OD or OB (even both) to hide the Windows taskbar. The problem persists. Currently I have the XP bar showing all the time and I hate it. Can anyone suggest a fix?

I'm unable to duplicate the whole problem. In part, cuz I'm not using OB.

When I set the task bar to auto hide it worked fine, windows came up full expansion.

Whem I use OD to hide, the bar I get the blank space.

Even tried it on the left, same things happened.

But when I left the bar showing, and unchecked keep on top of windows, then used OD to hide = FULL SCREEN

I've been watching it.

Auto hide slides out.

OD hide makes it just disappear. I think it just makes it go transparent, so if it's always on top, the window obeys the boundary.

Also works with 'on top' unchecked, autohide checked, and OD hide enabled.

Sorry it took me a while to get back. Work interferes again!

It turns out the problem is caused by the latest beta of Weather Pulse. It was one of those quick update things that I forgot about and happened about the same time as I was finding other problems with OB 1.99 so I mistakenly assumed that was the culprit.
